There will be 23,000 GWh of lithium-ion batteries by 2030

Companies and countries are ramping up factories to manufacture more and more lithium-ion batteries. Based on forecasts from Clean Energy Associates, the total manufacturing capacity will exceed 3,200 GWh of batteries by 2030. Accumulating the storage from all the batteries manufactured from 2020 to 2030, the total amount of storage available for EVs and the grid will exceed 23,000 GWh!
