How much methane (CH4) leaks from the drilling and distribution of natural gas?

The main component of natural gas is methane, which is also a powerful greenhouse gas. Across drilling and distribution, a lot of methane leaks. For each megawatt hour (MWh) of electricity generated in natural gas power plants, about 335 pounds of natural gas is leaked.
