The evolution of computers over the last 50 years offers a surprisingly relevant roadmap for the future of energy, particularly smaller-scale local energy systems.

Like the transition from mainframe computers to laptops and smartphones, large power plants will ultimately be eclipsed by the innovation and cost-savings of smaller systems. 

Bill was invited to share these insights to an audience at the Computer Museum of America.
